The two-story open concept floorplan boasts of entertainment options, centered around the fireplace you’ll find lounging space on the L-shaped sectional and picture-perfect views out the large windows surrounding the living area. The main level features a large entryway, laundry room, half bath, and fully stocked kitchen complete with all new appliances. Ideal for meal prep, grilling out on the back deck, and sharing meals amongst family and friends. Head upstairs to the loft where you’re welcomed by two queen bedrooms, both rooms are equipped with walk-in closets and a flat screen TV, and one bedroom also features its own private walkout porch. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom and loft area with seating and a flat screen TV, great for watching your favorite sporting event. The remaining sleeping quarters are found downstairs each sharing another full bathroom. Each bedroom has two separate beds within, one room has two full beds and the other has two queen beds, comfortably sleeping 4 guests per room. The downstairs living area is great for game night, watching movies, or simply relaxing after the day’s adventures. With a walkout patio featuring the hot tub, guests can soak right under the stars and enjoy the wildlife that roams the property. Plenty of parking is available for multiple vehicles and large trailers!
Rising Sun is centrally located to the historic towns of Lead & Deadwood within 15 minutes of the cabin. Hop on the famous Mickelson Trail for hiking and biking or venture down Spearfish Canyon where beautiful waterfalls await you. It was a great location, very spacious for big groups staying there.

My family and I stayed at the Rising Sun Lodge for a ski/snowboarding trip. The cabin was perfectly located for an easy drive to and from Terry Peak. The lodge was beautifully decorated, and the beds/bedding were so comfy, especially after a long day on the slopes. The check-in & out process was a breeze, the lodge had everything needed for our cooking needs, and there were plenty of board/card games to play for entertainment! We would love to book and stay at this gorgeous place again!! *Just some friendly advice would be to follow the hosts directions that they message you. Apple Maps is not that helpful when you enter the housing area. It can also be hard to distinguish cabins apart at night when the area is so dark and there are so many.

Beautiful home with great views. Very close to Terry peak and enjoyed our ski vacation.

The stay here was wonderful! Very nice decorations and they even decorated it for Christmas which I loved since it was our Christmas vacation! The fireplace would not work and we could not figure it out! I am sure was an easy fix. Kitchen had everything we needed! Bathrooms stocked with all the towels you could need. Snow was scooped nicely!

Celebrated my sister’s bachelorette party in the hills. The cabin was very nice, out of the way, and felt very “at home.” Would like to stay again and would recommend to others.
