The Skyview Lodge was absolutely exceptional. Once a year, our family travels in from five different states for a large family gathering. This year, we came to South Dakota to honor and lay a beloved family member to rest, making this trip especially meaningful. From the moment we arrived, Skyview Lodge exceeded every expectation. When I say this cabin left NOTHING to chance, I mean it. Every inch of the property was thoughtfully designed and meticulously maintained. The check-in process was seamless, the cabin was spotless and pristine, and the beds were some of the most comfortable we’ve experienced in any vacation rental. The coffee bar was a dream, and the abundance of amenities kept everyone entertained, from the youngest family members to the oldest. The location is perfect. It’s centrally located to all the major Black Hills attractions, making day trips easy, while still offering the peaceful privacy and serenity you want from a luxury cabin getaway. It truly provides the best of both worlds. If you’re looking for a spacious family cabin, luxury lodge, Black Hills vacation rental, or a peaceful South Dakota retreat with exceptional amenities, Skyview Lodge is the place to stay. Our family has stayed in many vacation rentals over the years, and this one ranks among the very best. We created memories here that will last a lifetime, and we would gladly return again.

This house is AMAZING!!! Easily big enough for large groups. The movie room was a huge bonus – we watched movies before bed each night with snacks and popcorn. We enjoyed the views each morning on the multiple outdoor spaces/decks with our coffee, had lots of fun in the huge kitchen making meals and doing puzzles on the large dining room table. Everyone had plenty of space in the multiple living room spaces & 8 bathrooms!! The whole pace is decorated beautifully & there were plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, refrigerator space. We also went to the community pool area for a day and that was fun too – there’s a splash pad for kids and two separate pools.Every time we turned around, we were finding more – the hidden pantry area, refrigerators on each floor, games in the cupboard, cool garage door downstairs to outside area, bonus kitchen area upstairs…if i could give more than 10/10, I would!! Loved this place – none of us wanted to leave.Location was great – there’s a grocery store 5 minutes away, Deadwood is 10 minutes down the road. We were able to do all the fun things from here.

We had an amazing stay at this vacation rental! The space was absolutely beautiful and had plenty of room for our large group to spread out and relax comfortably. Everything was very well stocked—from toiletries to coffee—which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to help with anything we needed. And the view… simply stunning! We would highly recommend this place and would love to stay here again.
